Thanked: 13THANK you for all the well wishes. Today, I got er done. I did my whole face wtg, cheeks and neck xtg. I missed ONE tiny spot, the Double Black Diamond run directly under my chin. I TRIED, Lord I tried. Those whiskers are ROCKWELL scale hard. And except for that ONE spot, I could not feel an iota of stubble ANYwhere on my face. I am stunned, TRULY stunned.
And the MOST amazing thing of all, is I did not cut, nick, scratch or burn myself, not even a LITTLE. Not a spot, not a drop. TOTAL beginners luck. Oh, my heart was pumping on that last lap... knew I would NEVER forget it if it happened. The first half dozen strokes were tenative, but then I just got this "feel", and it all made sense. Ya know, you don't REALLY have the slightest clue of the amount of pressure until ya just DO it.
The sounds, the smells, the WARMTH... Hooked. Totally and completely enthralled. I'm SURE I'll make my mistakes, but today, it didn't happen. THANK you all, for advice, well wishes. WOOT!!

Just wait, it's a humbling experience later when you think you have it. I came from 49+ years of wet shaving with a DE, , but I digress. As to glasses , I wear them can't hardly see without them, only have one eye. I actually shave by feel mostly, so yes you can overcome the glasses thing, nice I start I'm just laying the blade on my skin flat and then adjust as I start the pass. It's gets easier. Tc
