Welcome to SRP. I don't think the guys here do appraisals. Restore your razor, strop it, lather up and take her for a test shave. You will soon be a convert to REAL shaving. My Grandfather's razor is in my rotation and is a treat to shave with.

Hi pstewart & welcome to SRP. You might want to read the rules & guidelines. I think that is what it is called but as far as value, we are not allowed to give any values on the forum. If you are wanting to get an idea of the value, you can try eBay by typing in Columbia Cutlery Straight razor. It might not be all that accurate but many will be close. They are good razors & as a matter of fact I just happened to have one in arms reach but it isn't the exact one you describe but it is a Columbia Cutlery & says EXTRA HOLLOW GROUND, FULLY WARRANTED on the blade. You might even find one just like it on eBay & if it is an auction, then watch it until it ends & you can see what they bring. Since it is an heirloom, you don't want to use it often if any at all because things happen sometimes & you might drop it or bump it into the faucet & chip the blade or crack it. Get yourself another one or two to shave with if that is what you would also like to do. You get the best shave from a straight razor when honed & stropped right rather than the cartridge razor's.
    Good luck.

You don't need a value. It's an heirloom from your greT grandfather, put the wallet away and keep your heritage, it's worth more than money, put it up or use it, it's only worth a few dollars , to anyone else. Tc

PRICELESS! I also have my great grandfathers razor. Mine is priceless too. Heirloom razor only are acquired one way. Not everyone can have one. That is a nice razor. Typically the American blades are a little harder steel and are wold class razors. So if you want to shave with it, that would be awesome. Otherwise keep it waxed and well care for for the next generation of custodians. If you decide to learn to shave, do yourself a favor and learn with a less valuable razor. It is easy to fumble a razor, particularly in the early stages of learning. There are some good sources around and plenty of help available here.

Hi and welcome. Lucky man to have a heirloom razor. It is a good quality razor but won't bring significant money. If you don't use make sure to oil or grease it to preserve the blade.
My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

    Shave with this baby,
I would start with a different razor and save and cherish that one on special days.
