Howdy Shavehappie & welcome aboard from one Texan to another. I live in Sugar Land so you might not be far from me. First of all, thank you so much for serving the greatest country in the world as said by Chris Kyle, God rest his soul & thank you for still serving by being a reservist & also serving as a firefighter. I'm sorry I'm late to the party but I had issues to deal with along with intermittent cable/internet problems but i see many have already steered you in the right direction. I'm on the Butchered Blade thread as well & a lot of us have been sharing but everyone on this forum shares with one another so absorb all you can & you will be okay. Any questions, just ask. Here's a link to the Butchered Blade thread & look through it & also go to the last page where it is current. Just click on anything you see on this website & you will be amazed at all the info you find here. Great to have you here neighbor.

I started in Lackland back in 2000, not to much sooner Newell. That's actually where I go for reserves these days also.

Engine I actually live in Rosenberg so not far from you at all. I started working my way through the butchered blade posts. Got to reading some knife making books here lately though. Funny how one thing leads to an interest in another.

Shavehappie, yes it is funny how one thing leads to another thing & it's continueous! You're right down Hwy 59 from me.
