Thanked: 0Hi from Stoke-On-Trent, UK
Hi Everyone,
I am looking for my first straight razor as we speak. I have been using the Dovo shavette for a few months now, which was a massive improvement over my wife's disposable plastic razors.
I have the shaving bug and can't wait to get some decent kit and start my straight razor journey so I'd better check out the classifieds.
Take care,
Ade

Welcome to the forum Ade. If you've been using a shavette and not cutting your face to ribbons you should love an SR.
Make sure your first razor is properly shave ready. Buy decent kit. It pays for itself. Good luck!

Hi and welcome. The invisible edge in the UK has had good reviews and seems to supply shave ready razors as well. Make sure you get a strop to go with your razor. Good luck and any questions feel free to ask.
My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

Thanked: 0Hi everyone,
Thanks for the welcome, and thanks to SRP and Gary Haywood, I have a beautifully honed Dovo best,a couple of strops and a bucketload of advice.
Gary is a great guy, He fixed me up in a couple of days, spent half an hour on a Sunday on the phone finding out what I was looking for and advising me on an ideal starter kit at a knockout price.
My beard can't grow quick enough now.
