Hello from Arizona
Hello everyone,
I am relatively new to wet shaving but the urge to use a straight razor goes back many years, I've just never acted on it. I'm a big researcher, I want to be as ready as possible before I take the leap. I look forward to learning from this community.

Look up members in your town there is a couple who could help you one on one, then you can make better decisions, but read all you can in our library about starting out and try to listen to the advise given. Most bad decisions were made by doing the opposite Tc

Thanked: 3795Hi Ben,
Feel free to ask any questions, even if you fear they have been asked a hundred times. Don't worry, they been asked more than that! Just read the beginner's section and go from there.
Kudos to you for researching first and buying later! This does not have to be an expensive endeavor, even though some of us fanatics make it appear to be. Guys were shaving this way a hundred years ago and it was just a simple endeavor with simple tools and that is all that you need now.

Hi Ben & welcome aboard. You're doing the best thing one could do & that is researching it first. If you have't seen it yet, click on the Library above & start with the Beginners Guide & work your way from there. Also you can find out what to look for in a used one. If you also go to the FAQ page, you can find out a lot of really good info there & on this page which is a pat of that:
Frequently Asked Questions - Straight Razor Place Library
Any questions just ask. Great to have you here.
Good luck my friend!
