Thanked: 250Welcome SRP. Do more research here on coticules. You will have to learn your individual stone. To me they are a gift from God.

Welcome to SRP!
Even though you've been at it for a year, you might want to check out the beginner's section in the library - who knows you might learn some new tricks.
Natural hones are always fun to learn. I usually start with a beat up knife to learn a new stone.

Hi lightfoot & welcome to SRP. Although you have been at it awhile, you will find a lot of good useful info here. As far as the Coticule goes, there are threads on it here plus another place you can go to is cuticle.be or here is a link to go to for them which has a lot of good info:
http://www.coticule.be/CSA.html
Also be sure to check out Youtube for any video's there. Great to have you here & any questions just ask. There's no such thing as a dumb question.
Good luck my friend.
