Thanked: 98Hi Speedy, Welcome to SRP mate, there are a few Masons on site, I'm not but have made Many Masons rings for those who are.
It looks like you have enough "Stuff" to start a shaving store down under?
Might have to send you a Straight razor to get you hooked, then you will want more of them for the superior type shave that they provide.....

G'day FAL,
I've been wet shaving for nearly 6 months now and I've never used a real straight razors in my life this is why I went and bought a Parker 31R shavette, and I've been using the shavette for a while when I couldn't find time to using a real straight razor and then used a strop when I was in UK for 2 and half weeks as part of the Masonic Lodges for United Grand Lodge of England and also in Edinburgh for the Grand Lodge of Scotland.
In a few months time when I start saving some money and I'll get all the straight gear supplies and I'll be moving over to straight style, I wanted to used the shavette for a while so I can get better in my straight technique before I move over to a real straight razor.
Also I'm thinking about buying a IBC Straight Shavette has anybody here SRP has own a IBC Shavette and what do you think of them, I'm very concern about the big round thumb screw that might get in the way of shaving depending on the angle during the shave. Does anybody have any issue about these problems the big round thumb tighten screw for the blade to attach together, and for those who have never heard of a IBC Straight Shavette see link Irving Barber Company, LLC
Cheers
