Hi and welcome. From what I can see the second pic for both strops seems to be the back. Were you planning to use one plain and 1 pasted or pasting the back of both. If the back is too rough it would be advised no to use as it may damage the edge. What strops are they that will give us a better idea

I think no name strops.. it appears to be one feels like a belt, on is white and coarse, on black and soft, I can roll it up .easy... I don't know what to do

First of all , has your razor been honed ? If it has been honed to shave ready, there is no need to use a pasted strop until the edge has deteriorated from use. Use normal stopping on clean leather only for daily maintenance of the edge. Peruse the stropping forums and become familiar with the stropping process before you begin. The SRP library is your friend . Link here >>Razor Strops - Straight Razor Place Library Good luck !

From the pics supplied the first and third pics seems to be the stropping surface. Use the best one for stropping unpasted. Paste the other but don't use till your pro honed razor starts to tug a little. 10 laps should do it. Wipe blade down then at least 50 in plain leather. At least 50 on plain leather before each use till it starts to tug again.

I'm probably not explaining this properly. What I'm trying to say, is there are 2 sides of the leather strop. Like a belt. Would I put the compound on the side of the belt that faces inward or outward.

    Thanx

I would only paste 1. As they aren't great quality strops the back side is probably unusable for razors. So paste the stropping surface( from pics that appears to be pic 1 and 3)

OK. Thanks. I've been asking and ppl kept saying the same ole thing and not answering my 1 specific inquiry..

So it is the shiny smooth side that if it was a belt. It would face outward
