Thanked: 3795I'm sorry to be patronizing but I want to say it anyway...
Be extremely careful about both teaching your kids not to touch your razors, because of the danger, AND making sure that they are not able to touch them by keeping them locked up or inaccessible in some other way.
Given your location, I'd be happy to come by any time for an honing lesson. That is, as long as you have a spare bedroom and my wife can come!

Thanked: 6Yes only my 10 year old has seen it and I am very careful about things like this. Would never ever leave something like this around. He knows better. I do a lot of other things that they know not to touch like shooting compound bows, diving have spearguns and three prong spears and have knives and other things. I have been also raised around firearms as my dad hunts and collects.
I truly understand where you are coming from. No offense taken.I am kind of overprotective with my children and keep anything either dangerous or exspenive out of little hands reach.
