Thanked: 0New to this site
I joined here hoping that someone could tell me a bit about this Electric Cultery Co razor I found a while back in my grandfathers house. I don't know how to post a picture of it either so if I could be informed on that to that would be great. Thanks!

G'Day and welcome, Bradley. Congratulations on getting an heirloom razor from Your Grandfather - most of us would love something like that from our forebears.
To attach a photo, download the image onto your computer (I put them on my desktop to make them easy to find), then while you are typing a new post, hover your cursor over the buttons at the top of the window and they will tell you what they do.
The third from the right is the 'Insert Image' button - click on it and follow the instructions and you should be good to go.
I hope this helps
Another thing that would help, is if you could amend your profile to include your location - you might have other members just around the corner that could help with your journey.Hang on and enjoy the ride...

Hi Bradley & welcome aboard. I hope you are interested in shaving like your grandfather did. If so, you're in the right place. Any questions, just ask like you already have. If you still haven't figured out how to post a pic, I can tell you how. There is actually two ways that i know of but if you look at the bottom of the post, you will see a box that says "Go Advanced". Click on it & type whatever it is you're going to type because it won't let you submit a pic unless you type something. Then scroll down where you will see a box that says "Manage Attachments" & click on it. You will then see a box that says "Add Files", click it. Next another box will appear that will say select files. Follow the instructions & you should be able to do it.
The other way has already been told to you.

Welcome to SRP! Go into your SRP Account by clicking your name at the top where it says "Welcome, Bradley25" and then go under the "About Me" section which should be just under the Scrolling Ad Bar. Once there, add some details like your Location and that way other Members will be able to see where you are and if they are close enough to help. You can also do an Advanced Member Search here:
http://straightrazorpalace.com/memberlist.php?do=search
... by putting in search crteria for Location. Finding someone to touch base with locally may be the best option for you.

Welcome and enjoy the site and the group!
And by the way, you don't need to worry about appraisers/appraisals because that is against the forum rules. The request for pictures are just so folks (most of whom are very knowledgeable) can tell you as much about the origins and condition of the razor as possible.
Just call me Harold
