New from uk/scotland.
Hi all I'm Sammy I'm in Edinburgh new to useing a straight but I've had 4or 5 shaves now and things are going OK.Ive got a Bengall ,two gong,a kropp and a Mundy of Greenwich a paddle stropp and a hanging leather stropp.still learning lots and buying different sizes of razors to see what I prefer,Going to try and get a smiling wedge of some kind next to try.thanks for having me.

If you have not been there already, try visiting Scottish Fine Soaps's factory outlet in Falkirk. When I was there in 2012, they were selling soaps out of stillages, including shaving soaps at (no, that is not a typo) 20p. And their soaps are truly excellent.
