Thread: Hello from Georgia!

Hi, my name is Hector and I'm new to the straight razor world. I have been wet shaving for over twenty years but never had the itch to tackle a straight razor until a few days ago.

I stumbled on Lynn's YouTube channel and after watching his instructional video for beginners, I was hooked.

Im looking forward to meet you gents and to learn this new craft and to learn the most from the membership.

Start with reading the Beginner's Section in the Library. It will answer a lot of the questions about what to buy and how to use it.
We are here to help, so feel free to ask us anything.

Update your Location in your profile and someone local to you may be able to help you out. An hour of one on one with a mentor is worth days of reading.

I'm pretty sure that there is a shave group in Atlanta that can help you out. One of them will probably be along soon to welcome you. You can also do a member search based on location to see who pops up as a mentor.
