Fortunately I've been wet shaving with safety razors for a while now, so a lot of the costs are already covered lol. But between guitars, watches and fountain pens, and now straights, my bank account just loves me...

Hi Jfavre08 & welcome to SRP. Many people who have never used a straight will have a fear for them but will find out it isn't that way at all & that the shave is usually a good one unless the razor isn't shave ready or you use the wrong angle shaving. You'll find a lot of knowledgable members here so if you have any questions, just ask. Great to have you here & i hope you make the meet although I won't. I'm in Texas.
