Showing off my new ink in the guard barracks late in '78.
Uncle Sam threw some outrageous beach parties. I'm the one with hands on hips.
We went for boat rides (but no skiing)
The cruise ships were a bit low rent, but the sights were phenomenal!
After getting back stateside, we did a lot of camping trips in the Mojave....

Got to love those LST's and the amtracks. Been on a couple of those myself. Great pix. Brought back some good and not so good memories!
