Thanked: 7Hello from Colorado
Not a straight user...yet, but I have been lurking here like I use to do on another forum before I started shaving with a DE. I do use DE razors daily and some day I will make the leap into straights. I am here to live vicariously through your stories, tips, SOTD photos and learn all I need to know before the leap. I have the SRP to be chock full of formation, but I haven't found the end of information yet.

Welcome! You'll find some humor and other stuff scattered around here also. And I don't think there IS an end of information on this great forum, lol.

Welcome to SRP from a fellow Coloradan! I am still in my first year of shaving with a straight after using DE and SE razors for a while before that. There is a great community of straight shavers here in Colorado who get together occasionally for a meet up. Keep on the lookout for those.

Thanked: 7@Panama60...While I was searching for "other stuff" it was the humor and the pictures that kept me going off in a direction I wasn't intending to go and forgot was I was looking for...I often have squirrel chasing moments
@Demetrius...I see myself within a year (likely far less) being on my way into solving this straight razor experience. My searches have now gone towards maintenance and starter sets [emoji85]. No need to ruin a good strop with newbie mistakes that from what I have read, does happen

Thanked: 2Welcome GeorgeX! Though I myself have only just gotten into the whole SRS scene, I picked up a starter kit from a very reputable website and am now well on my way to nicking myself and staring unwaveringly at the mirror as a make a pass any more complicated than a downward stroke. But it's great fun, and has basically consumed any free time I had!
Cheers!
