Yo, I joined
Ok, so i've been lurking on this site for some time now, I have gotten so much info l figured it was time to join. Thanks to every one that's posted with the same questions and answers I have been looking for.
I started using a straight (brand X) about 5 months ago to see if I would like it, as it turns out I fell in love with the shave, and I NEVER liked shaving, go figure. About 2 months ago I bought a Boker celebrated extra hallow ground with bacote wood scales, this razor put brand X to serious shame. Brand X is now a hone practice tool so not an actual waste of money, to be honest Im glad I bought the brand X.

Welcome. I think if brand x made you fall in love with straight shaving then you did in fact get more than your money's worth.
