    I found this forum as of the writing of this introduction. I do not own a straight razor and intend to purchase my first after I do some research. Straight Razor Place has already been instrument in my research endeavors. Thank You

    Glad you've checked in. Lots of help available here. Don't forget to ask. This is a great hobby. Take your time. Get a razor professionally honed, a brush, a strop and of course soap. Take time learning. Do NOT rush unless you enjoy looking at your own blood. Try to find someone who lives near you whom can show the ropes. Good luck and have fun.
