Get a used razor from the classifieds here. Good shaving!

Hi Kevin & welcome to SRP. Like Wayne said, look in the classifieds. When you buy a shave ready razor here in the Classifieds, no member here is going to degrade himself by saying a razor is shave ready if it really isn't. On eBay, people will tell you anything to make a fast buck & at least here, you know what you're getting. It's a pleasure to have you with us.
Good luck my friend.

Hi Kevin. .... i just made the same transition myself from the shavette. After talking to these great guys, i made a decision to buy a couple of razors from whippeddog.com and two poor boy strops. ..total cost was about $124.00 if i remember correctly. Larry did me right and they do come shave ready.... just remember to hold the spine closer to your skin than with the shavette. Good luck and stick with it. ...
