Thread: Hello from Denver

Waited until this past Monday to order a Dovo Best Quality Black 5/8" Straight Razor & Strop Set from SRP. Now I can't wait for the package to arrive. Also ordered a small bottle of razor oil & a Sack-Ups Protective Razor Sleeve. Does anyone use the oil? Probably just a light olive oil. Can't wait. All the above advice has been most helpful. Thanks to everyone.

Pretty sure it is camelia oil although many light oils can be used. I wouldn't use any kind of cooking oil though

@dleonetti,@GeorgeX,@Demetrius Does a Jan.14 meet work for you guys? Generally I find floating a date to be a bad idea, it is better IME to just set a date, but you guys are enthusiastic enough that I'm making an exception.

January 14 sounds fine to me. I'll put it on my calendar as a possible.

Just waiting for George now. We have been meeting at the Garlic Knot on S. Colorado. As soon as we hear from George I will make the reservation and post the meet in the proper forum.

All items from SRD arrived as advertised, in good order. The order tracking and communications between SRD and me was impressive, and I purchase many items on line. Ready for the first Saturday shave.
