Hello from Florida!
Hello everyone, I've been wetshaving for a few years and have always entertained the idea of shaving with a straight razor. The last few weeks I've actually been SR shaving on the weekend with pretty good results. Anyway, I came to this forum to read and learn as much as I can about using my new tools.

Thanked: 634Welcome! Check the library. Go slow and don't give up, as it takes time.
What part of Florida are you in? I'm in Pompano Beach. There may be someone near you that can mentor you.

I'm on the other coast, Port Charlotte actually. Funny I just bought a great razor from a guy in Pompano beach. I was just reading some things over in the library, a lot of great information there. I'm sure that I will enjoy spending time here.

Welcome aboard Red. You already know what a solid group of men post on this site and you will be a great addition. Don't hesitate to ask for help. It takes a bit of time to become reasonably proficient with a straight razor. The point is to enjoy and have fun. Good luck.
Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance.
