New Member from South Carolina!
I have been wet shaving for a number of years and have had the straight razor bug for over a year. I have a number of higher end safety razors, have tried a few others, and pretty much settled on a few that work best for me. Finally pulled the trigger and ended up getting a Ralf Aust 5/8 from Straight Razor Designs recently, got a Boker King Cutter in a trade, and have several vintage razors at various stages of restoration.
Looks like I have gone head first into the rabbit hole of straight razors and am loving it so far.
I live in Upstate South Carolina, about 30 miles from Greenville and am a transplant from all over (dad is retired Army). Not sure how much personal info is needed, but I'm a Civil/Structural Engineer and graduated from a school in Tennessee close to 10 years ago (time flies..).
Just wanted to introduce myself finally after lurking on an off for a number of years.Addison likes this.

Welcome to SRP ! You're off to a great start. That Ralf Aust makes a heck of a razor, and you can't beat a Boker. That rabbit hole can get awfully deep though, don't ask me how I know.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
