    Hi, Pete here. I started wet shaving about a year ago and got myself a straight for Christmas. I now have the bug!

    Let's hope your wallet is rather heavy then! Between RAD, HAD, and the necessary variety of softwares, this sport can crush your budget if you aren't careful. But, straight shaving sure beats the hell out of 5-blade disposable pieces of crap!

    This is so true as you described exactly what happened to me with safety razor shaving. As they say, the biggest myth in wet shaving is that you'll save money!

    Good luck with that.

    There have been threads about the minimalist approach to SR shaving and wet shaving in general. Few survive to tell the tale.
