Hello all. I've been using a safety razor for awhile now and have been interested in getting into straight razor shaving for some time. Not long ago I purchased a shavette to get a feel for it without committing a lot of money. I've gotten pretty good at it and I'm ready to take the next step. I have a Boker 5/8 King Cutter and a leather stropping board in my cart to get me started. I'm just waiting for a reply from the vendor to a question I have and will pull the trigger. I've suffered the acquisition disorders with wet shaving and pipes so I have a good idea what I'm in for on that front I've found some great information here in the short time I've been lurking and look forward to hanging out.
