    90% of my collection was bought on the usual auction site. I had a small collection given by an old chap I work for, they were his fathers.
    I had a suspicion that even being close to a source of production might not be as helpful in collecting as one would think. At least there is that auction site that makes collecting on a global scale possible increasing the chances of finding sought after items.
