Welcome back. I just give the obligatory it's sharp to people before giving them a razor or knife. If they are stupid enough to cut themselves I am in the clear and have full rights to make fun of them

Yes, the b word. It was OK for a while then I looked in the mirror and thoughthe "magnificent though you are, beard, you're bloody itchy and I look scruffy". That and my boy said I looked beautiful without it 😃 He's got an opticians appointment on Monday 😂

Welcome back and great story. Indeed, beards are scratchy and prevent shaving fun. That kills growing one for me.

The other "sad dad" thing, I only noticed after shaving it off, was feeling my sons cheek or hair against my cheek when he hugs me. Who knew.
