Hi and welcome. Go slowly and don't try to do everything all at once and you will be fine. Good luck with your shaves

Just finished my first (partial) SRS. So far so good: just did sideburns and cheeks on left and right WTG. Oiled and lathered one section at a time. Kept my pressure superlight, actually too light, all I really did was knock down the stubble; But I'd rather air on the side of caution for now. No cuts, did the stash chin and neck with a disposable (which I, of course, did end up cutting myself with). Afterwards, followed it up with Thayer's rose water and art of shaving AS. None of the usual irritation I get from shaving so far.

Thanks to SRP for all the great resources, and whippeddog.com for my first razor.

Got cocky, WYG went really well, so decided to do an XTG pass. Not quite ready for that, I guess...

Not to bad though, we all fall when first learning to walk, you'll be up and running before you know it.
