Welcome Sir great to have you. Look around and join in as much as possible. Check into the work shop if you have interest in restoration of straights.

Send a PM to Cudarunner. He will make your experience with your Dovo better. Than you will be buying all kinds of stuff. Be very careful. Hide your wallet! RAD comes on before you know it!

    Hello and welcome to SRP.
On the french forum "le coupe-chou club", we have a thread called "the beginners and their Dovo".
As you know that DOVO produces 80.000 SR /Year, and that factory sharpening is made by machines, but that a real "shave-ready" hand-made honing takes from 30 to 45 or more minutes to be satisfying, can you calculate how much money is saved not doing it ?

    Thank you guys. Great tips.

It worked. I was able to finally shave with the Dovo. I might reset the bevel later since I used tape this time. But progress was made. Thank you guys!
