Thanked: 0Hi from Mississippi
Hello everyone, another newbie here. I am starting to get into straight razor shaving after using a safety razor for the past couple years. I have picked up a couple razors, one to practice restoring and one to actually use eventually. I decided to go with Boker for the one I'm going to use. I will post pictures tomorrow. Looking forward to all the knowledge from everyone.

Welcome to SRP!!
A lot of great folks and info here, check out the library, tons of great stuff in there.
Be sure the razor you're going to use is professionally honed. If not you may not last long as the shave won't be good at all.
Ask questions and take it slow.
Enjoy and have fun!!!Look sharp and smell nice for the ladies.~~~Benz

Thanked: 634Welcome. Have the one professionally honed. The one you are going to restore, do not use power tools. Waiting for pictures.

Hello and welcome to SRP.
You will learn a lot in a face to face meeting and would be very wise to take TC up on his offer.
Have fun here and enjoy!
