Hello. I have been using a safety razor for some time now and have been fascinated with straight razors. I love the barber shop scene and getting hot towel shaves.
I recently visited Schorem Barber shop in the Netherlands and got me to thinking of old school shaving. I picked up a set of straight razors today at a German flohmarkt.
I'm glad to have joined and look forward to using a straight razor on my face soon.

Wow!! You have a Newbie Problem rarely seen for sure... Just 'which' SR to use!!

Thank you. I will try and find time this week to pull each of them out and examine them closely and take pictures. For sure some of them will be restoring or at least a cleanse.

Yeah the case is pretty cool. The man who sold them to me said to come back next month and he is going to give me something, not too sure what it is though.

Really nice collection of razors!!!
Find the razors with the least rust and hone wear and get them honed
