Hello from Philadelphia, PA
Hello, I’m Angelo and I’ve been shaving with a straight razor since May of 2017. I live in Philly born and raised. I love wet shaving in general as it really is the best way to shave. I have a bit of family history with straight razor shaving; my great grandfather on my fathers side was a barber and I still have his barber chair and strop from the 1920’s. I look forward to learning from everyone here.

Welcome to SRP. Ask questions, read the library, keep the pressure light. Like folks have said, sha e the lather not the whiskers. That one helped me to keep pressure light. Enjoy and hope your sha es get better all the time.

That’s great advice Gasman. So far I can shave 1&1/2 passes with a straight razor and the other 1&1/2 passes with a safety razor.
