    Thanks yeah i tape them when i hone them. As i do with all razors while honing, i dont have a steady hand yet to hone them without tape.
    I dont put scales on them yet (because i dont know how to lol)
    That golden circle is a mozaik pin its hard to see on the picture

    Well the taping prevents hone wear anyway, so I always use it. If you can grind a blade scaling them will be easy. Lot of info here on making scales. I think Lewis Razors is the one who made a Youtube video that shows everything from designing the scale around the blade to cutting and shaping them with minimal tools.

    Check out the Kamisoris made by Bruno, they are really nice.
