Hello Mike, and welcome on the forum. Your name seems to be french ... something common in Canada of course.
Vintage and antique items, whin in good condition, have an advantage upon modern stuff: they where made to last and where efficient. So it is good sense to use them.

Thanked: 4Yowan. Thank you for the welcome. I agree with your words about vintage items in good condition and that is always what I look for. Whenever I do manage to grab a nice anything I try to keep it where I can see it and enjoy it. That Schulze razor I'm pretty certain that dates to before WW2 but when I seen it I knew I had to have it. I cleaned it as a couple other members suggested and I have it one display on a shelf. Best regards. Mike D.

Hi and welcome aboard. Seems you need to take the next step and get a razor honed and start shaving with one. What better way to enjoy than performing its vintage service of providing an excellent shave. Sure you could pull a great vintage shaving set together
My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed
