Hi
I'm Dave. I'm a physician living in Michigan. I've been a wet shaver (brush etc) for 20 years and a safety razor user for 14 years. As of this Christmas I made the plunge and acquired a Dovo and a Hart straight razors. I'm glad to be here

Welcome, and glad to have you with us. I only have about six months more experience with a straight than you do and I really enjoy it. There is a lot of information here in the library as well as in old threads. If you can't find what you're looking for just ask. There's a wealth of information in the heads of the members here and they are glad to share.

Welcome Dave. You have come to the right place! Great people that are willing to help and lots of info including for the begginner. Spend some time ready the library and ask questions and we will be happy to help get you started on you straight razor trip. Post pics 9f your equipment. Yet in on the shave of the day and enjoy this age old way of shaving.

Hello Dave, welcome to SRP. I'm a physician in Oregon. I wet shaved with a DE or SE for over 50 years, then switched to straights four years ago. My only regret is that I didn't learn about them 55 years ago.
