Thanked: 25Newbie here
I just got my first straight razor, and I am hoping to learn the ropes. So far after two shaves , I am still here without any major injuries.

Welcome to SRP!
If you haven't already done so, read through the Beginner's Guide in the Library. It's a lot of information to make your shave better.

Hello and welcome on the forum.
For the shaving of the head, don't matter with use of different mirrors, just reproduce the movement of combing your hair, with the two hands, oone that feels and the other works, but with a razor. For visual control turn 180 degrees and use the small hand mirror to check the big one in your back.
Which model is your SR and what is your stropping equipment?
