Thanked: 5Excited to learn
Hey all! My name's Joe and I'm Cudarunners new apprentice. He found me at Albertsons and took me under his wing. I've been shaving with a straight razor for a few weeks now and I'm never turning back! I'm open to any and all friendly advice and tips and tricks. Thanks for letting me in this forum!

As Sean Connery said in the movie 'Highlander'--I've prepared him for you!
Actually I've told him that you and others would join with me to lead him to the 'Dark Side' which is the Glorious Older But Better Way of Shaving which is with a Straight Razor.
Most of his equipment came from the Mike Horn Foundation with me adding a few things in.
I'm impressed with him as while he's enthused he's also patient which as we all know is of the most important trait to learning this age old art.
Thank you for welcoming him into the fold :Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

Thanked: 3795So a strange guy "found you at Albertsons" and he's teaching you about sharp things?
Sounds about right.
Have fun around here. You are in good hands with Roy but feel free to ask any questions here if you might want more than one opinion.
