Hello
Ive only been using a strait razor for a couple of months now. Got here from making knifes as a hobbie. Love to hone and look forward to getting some finer stones and learning to use them, always amazed when i make a piece of steel razor sharp. Love it! And love shaving with a strait razor. Glad i found this hobbie hope to make some new friends who think the same. About me. Im in saltlake city utah. Long time pilot skydiver flyfisher new hammock camper. Survivalist and primative skills for 30 years or so. Getting older 52 i guess shaving with a strait razor fits a little danger in with something in line with my age.

Hello and welcome on the forum. Skydiver? I put a parachute on my shoulders a lot of time (glider pilot, Tug pilot too) but prefer to land the plane safely rather than get out.

Welcome aboard!! Don't go buying a lot of hones till you get to know what is necessary for a razor, very different than honing knives!
Good to look through the "Library for a lot of basic information and getting the feel of the hobby/ addictions.

Welcome. I love sharp and shiny things too. I have found this forum to be a great resource for all things razor related, and have made some very good friends here too.
