You're most welcome, Alex! When I started into wet shaving 6 years ago, it was through the generosity of those I met on this forum that made straight shaving all the more enjoyable.
As your blade is Swedish steel, I will stick with synthetics, finishing on the Gokumyo 20k. Sharp and smooth is the goal!--Mark

ESP FTW! I recommended Alex attend a local meet-up so he could meet our Northwoods razor fiend..er, friend.

Thanks gssixgun, I enjoyed the video of you and Speedster from 2012. It's really helpful to be able to see and listen to instruction. It's the next best thing to actually being there. I appreciate the time and effort it takes to make and post videos like that, thanks.

I would really like to meet up some time, any day would be fine. Unfortunately with my job schedule I'm gone for a week at a time but the plus side is I'm off for the next week. If I'm lucky enough to be off the week you guys end up scheduling, I'd be happy to join.---Alex

There's much more than just Sushi Jerry! I too don't prefer that genre of food but they do have quite a large menu. I'm sure that you would find something that you would enjoy.
When my son and I attended that was the most expensive lunch I ever paid for! I had told him he could order 'Anything' he wanted and he ordered what I believe is supposed to feed 4 people. It came in a boat! If memory serves it was full of deep fried treats and they were all very good.
However between what he could eat at the meet and what he ate coming home there really wasn't much left for the next day. (A growing 18 year old)Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.
