Thanked: 98Welcome out from the shadows. The addiction is real. The first step to a cure is buying more razors...nice ones...with exotic or old origins.

Thanked: 3795Welcome!
I definitely can relate to the honing preference. Shaving is nothing more than an opportunity for honing feedback!

Welcome, Timo!
Glad to have ya as part of the group. Ask questions as often as you want. Remember that the only stupid question is the one not asked. We are here to help and would love ya the dive deep into the rabbit hole. Ha. It happened to most of us and the more of us in the hole, the better it makes us feel.
You didn't say anything about a strop. Hope you have one, or 3 or 8. See, this is what happens. We all know a strop is a strop and does the job, but why not have 12 of them, all of the different types to play with.
Enjoy your time here in SRP. Good folks who are willing to help you get to that close and comfortable shave. It's just Sharpening, right?

What's up from the South Bay, nice to see more members from Nor Cal. I am just like you I came here from knife sharpening and found a whole new world to explore. It has made my knife game so much better and found a new hobby. Enjoy!

Welcome! Honing can be very enjoyable. Sounds like you already have quite a few razors.
