Thanked: 0Hello from Northern Jutland, Denmark
Hello everybody,
I am a danish guy who resently started an adventure into the world of straight razors. It all began when my wife bought me a TI 'Le Dandy' for my 40th birthday. Up until then it had been a lot of talking, but not a lot of shaving. For my TI and I, it was love at first sight and since then, I have been purchasing numerous vintage straight razors from auctions, flea markets and the like. I will be looking forward to learning, reading storys and history of the different straight razors and hopefully buying and selling a razor or two.
All the best,
Kasper.

Thanked: 557That TI le Dandy was my first new razor as well. It was a great way to start.
Welcome.
You will find lots of information and support here.
Sounds as if you are already well on the way to full razor acquisition disorderDavid

Welcome Kaspar. Your choice of a Thiers Issard is excellent. Similar to the path that I took. However I'm suggesting that you look at Japanese razors as you expand your experience. I know guys that would eat noodles before selling their Japanese razors. Trust me on that! Any way this hobby is a lot of fun and I'm glad you have joined this merry group.

Thanked: 4828Welcome Kasper, there are certainly a lot of like minded people here and I am certain either information about razor history or links will be available within the threads.

Thanked: 634Welcome to the family. Some beautiful razors come from your region of the world. Go slow and never stop learning.
