Thread: Hi from Barcelona

Good morning gentlemen,

I am an enthusiast of (old style) shaving, that have a small collection of vintage DE razors (mostly Gillette, although I do have a couple of Gibbs that I like a lot). I entered into this hobby five years ago, when I realized that I wanted to turn a daily routine into a pleasure. I also expected that traditional shaving represented money saving, but it was an illusion. I have invested too much money into razors and shaving soaps, probably, more than I will use in my life.

Welcome to the SRP, I have visited your beautiful friendly city of Barcelona many times, my Grandmother owned a beachside chalet just outside the city in Castelldefels pre Olympics.

The illusion is still very strong for my wife so don't talk about it. But in all seriousness welcome to the group and have fun with your now long-standing hobby.

Welcome to SRP. Glad to have in the group. I was never tricked into this saves money idea because i know myself. I couldnt go without buying a lot of everything. Maybe it works for some, but not most is my guess.
