Hey, Tony. Nice crop of hair! Five years of cultivation could be gone in short order.
    Tough choice. Good luck!

Welcome back Tony. Its a hard choice to cut the hair when we start getting older. Mine went gray so i figure after 20 years, it was time to get it cut.

BTW, hope to work ya on the airways someday when conditions come back.

I’m in the process of getting my station put back together. Winter storms took out my HF antenna- two winters in a row, then the property went into probate and the attorney told me I’d have to move. Put it this way, it’s been a fun 5 years. Anyhow, I’m hoping to get that antenna back up before winter sets in. My call is KD5AFE (my late mother saw my call on a cap and thought it said Kid Safe lol) I’ve held that call for approximately 22 years. (I’m a bad ham, I forgot my original license date).

You havent been missing much with the conditions the way they are. I have a decent station and its hit and miss to work much of europe. Sure, states side is no big deal, but thats no fun. When i started i couldnt get Japan to shut up. Now i dont hear them at all.
