Welcome to SRP! You've stumbled onto the best site around to expand your knowledge on all aspects of straight razor shaving. Most of the fun arises from actually shaving with straight razors, so I'm one hoping you get your first shave sooner rather than later.

I arrived here a little over 5 years ago following an interest in knife sharpening. I wondered if I could sharpen a razor to where I could really comfortably shave with it. I haven't shaved with anything else since that day. If you like sharp edges, you'll love the intimate relationship that you will have with your straights every day.
