I really appreciate the welcoming responses. Folks have been very kind putting up with my questions. The amount of knowledge in straight razor shaving here is remarkable, and I appreciate the willingness of folks to help each other. I have already found improvements in honing my first razor (the second one was honed by Glen at GemStar so I would be foolish to do anything but shave with it). I have now had bloodless shaves with both of my SRs, and have a third SR coming (I couldn't pass up an amazing sale by a member here). I am finding my self on here more than two other forums, as I am drawn further down the SR path.

It's good to hear that you have a Pro Honed Razor. It's always best to know what a properly honed razor shaves like. It makes things so much easier.
