Thanked: 7Hello from greeneville tn
Hello from east tn. Not sure how i ended up here. Started with my dad buying a few razors one day, and well like most became interested learned to use them and started collecting them. Have a few good old ones ive found and have began to restore them with the help of this site. Well enough of me. Thanks

Thanked: 556Welcome.
Take a look at the library and use the search function in the upper right corner. You can find a lot of info about any aspect of straight razors, hones, strops, etc.
There is so much info here that it is often easiest to just ask a question. No question is dumb and someone will answer fairly quickly. There is a lot of experience and expertise for you to draw from from and we all enjoy sharing. As mentioned, we LOVE pictures, so please share what you have done already.David

Welcome to SRP. You have come to the right place. Some folks just want to learn to shave this old fashion way, others enjoy the restoring. In the end we all love helping each other to grow in this hobby. Check out our library and post pics. We can help you to make great razors out of old ones that will last for generations. Enjoy and have fun.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Welcome to SRP!
Maybe you wound up here because SRP sets the bar for straight razor and wet shaving knowledge. Hope you find yourself at home and enjoy becoming a part of this fine community of ours.
Cheers!--Mark
