Default Hi to all - I'm back!

Greetings to all. I've been away for quite a while due to, I'm not ashamed to say, some serious mental health issues. We never believe it'll happen to us! After losing jobs, break down of relationships and stays in hospital, the dark days are behind me and I'm glad to be alive. As a typical man I buried my head in the sand, ignored all the self destructive warning signs, refused to ask for help and slowly but surely deteriorated to the point of total implosion. I hit rock bottom pretty hard.

Onward and upward. My life is certainly very different now, in all aspects, but I'm working hard to make it the best it can be such as training for a new career path. I even have my collection of SRs back. I've missed them, but thankfully someone had the foresight to hide them from me when I was unwell. Anyway, I'm reminded of the pleasure I get from my Boker collection, the odd misfit and the enjoyment I had from being a member of this great site. It's good to be back.

    Here's to the future...

You're certainly not alone in the battle for mental health, brother. Welcome back to wet shaving and SRP.

The sport sure provides many ways to clear your head, relax and focus on a singular, enjoyable task in this crazy, hectic world. More than just my face feels refreshed after a wonderful straight shave.

    Hi, Wayne,

Nice to see you back, I would imagine you enjoyed the Wales V England game.

Welcome back and very glad you have recovered. That's a very dark road to travel my friend...been there. Thank God we made it back.....some don't.

The shrink I saw a few years back asked me 'What the hell is wrong with you? You suffer from depression and use a straight razor? Son you need some serious help!"
