Hello everyone!
I found this forum by searching for a good place to get into straight razors. I just had the absolute pleasure of buying a beautiful Dovo Prima Klang from Haroldg48 and am looking forward to its arrival.
This is my first foray into SR, though I've been DE shaving for about a dozen years. Started after cartridge razor disillusionment, then discovered primo shave soaps and have accrued entirely too many razors, soaps and post-shave concoctions since then. I love a good shave, but don't shave every day since I left the service. I'd rather take my time and enjoy the experience instead of rushing through it as a rote exercise.
Anyway, I grew up in the Mountain West and have ended up in the desert of Southern California.
