I agree with the others - perhaps an old barber is the easiest way to find local help over there.
Hi, welcome aboard. I have seen that article over the Filarmonicas, it was 4 years ago. The lucky guy intended to sell them on the argentinian equivalent of e-bay. As there was a lot of pieces, maybe some are still available.

The stone maker is Shapton not Sharpton.

As said tape your spine when honing.

When you start to make your first blade stay with a simple straight blades. Stay away from smiling blades in the beginning.

Practice stropping with a butter knife.

    Good luck

I'd only add, follow-up on the barber idea, and watch this group for tips and tricks on all aspects of the adventure. It can be tremendously rewarding!

    Welcome.
Plenty excellent Filarmonica razors for sale locally:

    https://listado.mercadolibre.com.ar/...-filarmonica#D[A:navajo%20afeitar%20filarmonica]

For hones you may want to look into these: https://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar...9-f9163111d0d4

I don't know these particular stones but with 8000 grit and a good strop you should be able to get a shaving edge on your razor.

Here is some chromium oxyde for improving the edge after the 8000 grit stone in case stropping on plain leather is not quite enough:

This is a very decent hanging strop: https://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar...3-eceeaae29b92

These bench strops look decent too: https://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar...3-eceeaae29b92

These links should get you going.
