Thread: Happy to (finally) Step Aboard

Slowly, I have become increasingly uncomfortable lurking around on this forum as a stranger. I’ve found an awful lot of useful information that’s helped me with a few things here and there. Today I decided I’ve had enough! So I’m joining up to participate properly.

Progress and improvements I’ve enjoyed from participating in other fora for other areas of interest, are evidence enough to me that communities and individuals are better served through active participation.

Within the Wet Shaving community, my hyper-focused interests are 1) Honing and 2) Rocks On Which I Can Hone. But then of course the razors are an integral and critically important factor. And the actual shaving just happens to be an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable ritual that helps to balance things in any given day. So far I tend to love Japanese and Swedish straights. Or maybe it’s Swedish and then Japanese. I don’t know.... I may be singing a different tune in a few weeks; who knows!?

Regardless of any of the above blathering, I respectfully present myself as a new guy: this moment’s newest guy. I hope I can humbly add to the overwhelming wealth of legitimate and positive content available that I have found so valuable through my experience until now. Thanks for having me!

Welcome. If you've been lurking then you may already know your way around but there is a lot of information in the beginner's section. I know you said you have a fondness for rocks...boy are you in trouble...down the rabbit hole you go. Seriously though, you will find a myriad of information and people who know more about the topic than is healthy for one person to know. Certainly check out the Razors section, shave of the day and show and tell for plenty of things to make you question what your favorites are.
As stated, put your location in. There may be someone near you who can help. Also pictures, tell us your story, how many.and what kind.of whatever you have and include pictures. We love pictures. Enjoy and don't be afraid to ask questions if you can't find what you're looking for in a search.
