Thanked: 2Hello from South Africa
Hello everybody , my name Is Jack Connan, i am an addict (addicted to beautiful razors) and i do not want to be unanimous . I am a Knife maker and full hollow razor snob from South Africa
I started shaving with straights about 20 years ago with a razor someone gave me a few years before , somewhere along the way i dropped the razor and cracked the blade . fast forward a few years and i became a knife maker , then a member of the knifemakers guild of South Africa , as a knife maker i tried fixing that old razor (it really was nothing special) and failed miserably , so i decided to make myself a razor , witch failed again ! At this stage i decided that it would become my life's mission to make the best custom razors in the world ! After thousands of hours of research and many failed attempts , i made a razor that could actually shave . This was in 2012 , i have since made many flops and in recent times made a few that shave really nicely . I am not the best out there yet , but i am still trying my best to make the best and can not see myself stopping any time soon !
hopefully the pics upload correctly as i do not know much about computers ! But this is my latest piece

Very nice work. And welcome to SRP. As said, and IMO, we have some of the best custom razor makers in the world as members, so be sure to check out the forge section and ask any questions you may have.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Welcome, Jack, interesting design, your work reminds me of Stu's work AKA Boxer razors from Australia.
