Welcome back! Hope all is well over on the other side of the world.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Welcome back for Walla Walla Washington! I've often wondered what happened to you and was always hopeful it wasn't something bad.
Again, Welcome Back! Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Thanked: 1587Yep, the bigger the better. I've moved a little into AI and machine learning and what the kiddies are now calling Data Science - which is basically what computer scientists who can't be arsed learning statistics call the kind of data analysis they do. My career goal now is to teach these people proper analytical techniques.
Thanks sharptonn, it is nice to be back though I will probably not be quite as active as some of you remember from last time - though who knows? If life's taught me anything over the last few years it is that you can't predict what life's going to teach you...
Much less drama huh? Well that doesn't sound like the forum I know. I will have to do something about this - someone point me to the Conversation forum, I have a gun control thread I need to start....
No, mostly good with a little bad - just normal life I guess. I suppose I could say there was a particular moment in time where I stopped and took stock, reprioritised etc. At the time I found it hard not to spend many many hours on the forum, sometimes to the detriment of other things. So I tried life without it for what?, 5 years or so. It was good, but I have missed you guys.
Thanks for the welcome back everyone!

Well, I expect Auntie J. and Bruce will get wind.
Some of her wisdom would do well with the newer crew here!
